Two options

Depending on which COPENHAGEN CARDTM you choose you'll have one of the following transport-options included:

  • COPENHAGEN CARD – DISCOVER® includes all types of public transportation in the Capital Region.

  • COPENHAGEN CARD – HOP® includes access to the Hop On - Hop Off buses in the City.

Show the QR code in the train

No need to tap

No matter if you choose DISCOVER or HOP you don't need to tap or scan it anywhere. You can just get onboard and present the QR-code upon request from the driver or inspector. Please make sure your Copenhagen Card is active througout your entire journey.

COPENHAGEN CARD - DISCOVER

The COPENHAGEN CARD - DISCOVER® includes all public transport within the Capital Region of Copenhagen (zone 1 - 99).

This means that the COPENHAGEN CARD - DISCOVER includes travel to towns outside Copenhagen, ie. Roskilde, Lejre, Hillerød, Helsingør (Elsinore), Ishøj, Humlebæk, Rungsted, Køge, and Frederikssund where you can find more amazing attractions.

Transportation includes: Metro, Buses, Commuter-trains (S-trains), Regional Trains, Local Trains and Harbour-Buses.

COPENHAGEN CARD - HOP

 Stromma Hop On-Hop Off routes in Copenhagen

  • Classic Copenhagen (Red line)
    Classic Copenhagen now runs daily with a 25 minute frequency. 
    First departure from stop 12 - Tivoli at 9:00
    First departure from stop 1 - Ved Stranden at 9:35
    Last full tour departs from stop 12 - Tivoli at 17:15
    Last full tour departs from Stop 1 - Ved Stranden at 17:30
  • Home of Carlsberg (Green line)
    Home Of Carlsberg Friday to Sunday all year around and every day 11/4-5/10.
    Departs from stop 12 - Tivoli at 11:15, 12:15, 13:15, 14:15, 15:15, and 16:15
  • Colorful Copenhagen (Purple line)
    Colorful Copenhagen Friday to Sunday all year around and every day 11/4-5/10.
    Departs from stop 12 - Tivoli at 11:45, 12:45, 13:45, 14:45, 15:45, and 16:45
    Departs from stop 1 - Ved Stranden at 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, and 17:00

Transport to and from the airport is included in COPENHAGEN CARD - DISCOVER, when the card is active. DISCOVER covers all public transportation forms between Copenhagen and Copenhagen Airport.

Transport to and from the airport is NOT included in HOP.
